Community Eats Birkdale & Beach Haven; supporting locals with food security.

Auckland

Please help us offer support with food to local families and individuals in need in the Birkdale and Beach Haven

Over the last 7 months the Community Eats programme has supported over 2524 local families and individuals in need with food parcels in the Birkdale and Beach Haven area. This includes over 10,000 kg of donated food. We need to raise some money to meet some of the anticipated and present-day increase in demand through the winter months.

Every week, we are receiving more calls for help, so whether it's big or small, your donation will make a real difference to making people's lives! 100% of this money will help us purchase a good range of staple food for those in need. It's great to be in a position to offer this support, so thank you for taking the time to consider donating! The cost of a food box is roughly $60.

About us

The Birkdale Beach Haven Community Project House operates from two key sites, one on Birkdale Road and the other on Beach Haven Road. Both houses facilitate a series of community initiatives, spaces as well the Community Eats programme.

Use of funds
