Our 'Community Eats' programme supports many people in need with food parcels in the Birkdale Beach Haven communities. We have seen a massive increase in need to support the local community since level 4 lockdown. We are a not-for-profit organisation and our ability to keep helping people this depends on donations - and our amazing Volunteers! Our referrals come from self-referrals, and a range of agencies and schools. Thanks so much for your support!

About us

The Birkdale Beach Haven Community Project House operates from two key sites, one on Birkdale Road and the other on Beach Haven Road. Both houses facilitate a series of community initiatives, spaces as well the Community Eats programme.

Use of funds

All funds go towards purchasing Kai. To date we have raised $4971 we have spend over $5000 on food to ensure our community is fed. Mums, Dads, Tamariki and our Kaumātua. Delivered contactless by community volunteers.
