Epsom Senior Rowing 2025 Ergathon!

Hi family, friends and supporters!
On Saturday 20th September 2025, our rowing squad is kicking off the season with our first fundraiser — an ERGATHON!
Each of us will row the length of Lake Karapiro (11km) on rowing machines (ergs). Normally, we only race 2km… so this will be a challenge at the start of the season, but as they say, pressure makes diamonds.
The Senior Ergathon will run from 10am–1pm at Greenwoods Corner in Epsom, as part of the Greenwoods Corner Spring Festival. Pop down, cheer us on, and watch us pull some very determined faces — it’s free entertainment!
Our fundraising goal for the day is $4,500, which will go towards our season target of $50,000+ to cover equipment, maintenance, and operating costs. Each rower is aiming to raise at least $150.
We’d love your support — sponsor us for any amount you like, and help keep our squad afloat this season (literally and financially). Every dollar really does pull its weight.

About us
The Epsom Girls Grammar Rowing Club has a strong and proud rowing history. We have the rowing and coaching talent but rowing is an expensive sport and we rely on fundraising to keep us going and evolving into the champions we aim to be.
