St Paul's Church winter fundraiser to support the Feed My Lambs ministry at St Saviours, Kaitaia.
Northland
Feed My Lambs is a weekly programme for mothers and children based at Rongopai House, an outreach of St Saviours Anglican Church in Kaitaia.
The St Paul’s community has supported Feed My Lambs over the last five years through nappy, formula and Pak’nSave voucher drives and through our annual Christmas Shoebox appeal. This winter we'd love you to get involved again and support this amazing programme that helps mums who are struggling with life’s circumstances for whatever reason to find acceptance, friendship, hope, practical help, and the chance to learn parenting and housekeeping skills.
Mums are supplied with the necessities for babies and toddlers; nappies, wet wipes and baby formula (they promote “Breast is best”) on a weekly basis.
While the mums are at the Feed My Lambs sessions, their tamariki are cared for at Tamariki Time right next door, a safe, stable and loving environment for children to engage in play and
learning.
On average it costs $50 per week per mum (with 2 children) and there are over 20 mums per week attending this ministry.
Our mission as a church community at St Paul’s is to follow the way of Christ by cultivating authentic worship, deep relationships, and God’s life in the city. We’re privileged to be the first church in Auckland and we’re seeking to extend that legacy into the future for God’s glory.
All funds will go to Feed My Lambs, to provide nappies, wet wipes and baby formula, and to support the Feed My Lambs ministry.
