The Love Your New Neighbour team are again on a mission to provide new refugee families in Auckland with good-quality essential homeware.
Auckland
Following the hugely successful pots and pans appeal last time, the Love Your New Neighbour team are again on a mission to provide new refugee families in Auckland with good-quality essential homeware.
Refugee families settling in Auckland often arrive with few, if any, possessions. Through the work of Red Cross NZ, they are provided with a home to live in and some basic furniture, but often little else. These families need essential items like towels, bedding, and kitchen appliances so they can get their lives back up and running.
This is where you come in! We would love to provide refugees who arrive in Auckland this year with these essential household items - towels, bedding, toasters, kettles, and rice cookers – all new, all great quality.
YOU can change someone’s life – a small donation can make a big difference to a refugee. They feel welcomed and supported. Let's help our new neighbours feel at home!
After the 5% Givealittle fee, all of your generous giving will go towards making houses into homes for refugee families. All of the net contribution will be donated to the Red Cross who will purchase these household items and then distribute the items to new refugee households in Auckland.
Our mission as a church community at St Paul’s is to follow the way of Christ by cultivating authentic worship, deep relationships, and God’s life in the city. We’re privileged to be the first church in Auckland and we’re seeking to extend that legacy into the future for God’s glory.
SPLYNN is partnering with Red Cross New Zealand to purchase essential household items - towels, bedding, toasters, kettles, and rice cookers – for refugee families
