Free Store Festivities 2021

Join us for The Free Store's annual 'Free Store Festivities' this November! With Covid restrictions in mind, we're deconstructing our usual extravaganza to be hosted throughout a week. We'll have an Art Exhibition & Auction from Tuesday 23rd - Saturday 27th of November, a Festive Market & BBQ at Aro Valley Community Centre on Sunday 28th November, and an incredible collection of prizes to be won in our online raffles.

It's going to be an amazing week, but in reality we just won't be able to raise the amount of funds we usually would. So we are hoping our community's generosity will pull us through - every dollar counts.

All of the money we raise keeps the work of The Free Store going - reducing food waste, providing regular food for people, and creating a community of belonging, generosity & transformation.

About us

The Free Store operates under the umbrella of the Blueprint Community Trust. We daily redistribute quality surplus food from over 60 inner-city eateries to anyone who wants or needs. We are a community of people from all walks of life who gather around this surplus kai (food) and become friends & family.
