Join us for The Free Store's 5th annual 'Free Store Festival' this November! In partnership with Southern Cross Garden Bar and Resturaunt, we're hosting a 5-our extravaganza with bands, special edition Garage Project Beer, a barber, a pub quiz, a market, and raffles!
All of the money we raise keeps the work of The Free Store going - reducing food waste, providing regular food for people, and creating a community of belonging, generosity & transformation.

About us
The Free Store redistributes quality surplus food from over 62 eateries in Pōneke (Wellington) to anyone. We are a community of people from all walks of life who gather around this surplus kai (food) and become friends & family.

To keep the work of The Free Store going - reducing food waste, providing regular food for people, and creating a community of belonging, generosity & transformation.
