Help Donkey be a little less Wonky?

$700 donated

Our time & love is free, vet care & treatments, however, aren't & we want to make sure we can do everything possible for Donkey.

Nationwide

Found on a remote walking track in Katikati & brought to us, Wonky Donkey seemed the most obvious name for him!

Donkey has paralysis/ issues using his back legs, one front leg & toileting all by himself.

Our gorgeous little man has had a few vet visits so far, while we try to work out what's going on & more importantly how we fix it.

Initial X-rays have shown that his front leg is broken just below the shoulder - where it can't be splinted or operated on & it has already started to heal itself in a relatively good position.

Nothing, showed up on his spine/tail, back legs & all those working parts to tell us why he is our Wonky Donkey!

In a few days with TLC & with good drugs he has gained a little more strength & use in his back legs & is trying to be a normal kitten, but we know we have a way to go especially as he isn't going toilet by himself.

We're giving him some more time, special playtime/physio & then we're looking at more specialised vet care inc. acupuncture & whatever time tells us he'll need.
