Animal Welfare Prevention Pets

We rescue stray, abandoned & community cats & kittens throughout the Franklin area & beyond.

We de-sex, vaccinate, micro-chip foster & love them like our own until such times as we can rehome them to the perfect forever homes.

We operate a TNR (trap, neuter, release) system with community cats which is recognised worldwide as the most humane and effective alternative to euthanasia for managing community cat populations.

We have enthusiasm, love and want to make a difference to those who can’t help themselves & ensure they get to live & enjoy the 9 lives they deserve.

100% of proceeds and donations we receive go directly back into the essential care of the cats and kittens we rescue. This helps cover costs such as: de-sexing, vaccinations, vet bills and medication, cat food and essentials.

We are an incorporated non-profit group, registered charity and members of the SPCA Auckland Cat Coalition.

Nationwide

Franklin Cat Rescue are a small team of dedicated volunteers who are committed to the rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming of abandoned, stray, neglected & abused cats & kittens.

We also operate a Trap, Neuter & Return programme for colony cats, providing ongoing management & support.

100% of proceeds and donations we receive go directly back into the essential care of the cats and kittens we rescue. This helps cover costs such as: de-sexing, vaccinations, vet bills and medication, cat food and essentials.

In foster care they are loved and respected like our own and their new β€˜people’ have that love returned exponentially.
