We at Franklin Cat Rescue volunteer 365 days of the year to work to one goal - to ensure every cat & kitten is healthy, happy, loved & respected.

Desexing & breaking the cycle of unwanted & unloved is our number 1 priority.

Sadly we currently find ourselves in URGENT need of support & donations.

As members of the Community Cat Coalition - Auckland we receive a contribution to assist with the immense cost of desexing the hundreds of cats & kittens we deal with each year.

CCC as a charity & after an incredibly busy & long season supporting CCC members, the funds are gone & no assistance is available until further notice, which is a long way away in rescue!

What does this mean? Simply…with the cats & kittens in our care who will be rehabilitated & rehomed & the numerous TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) projects we are currently working on we cannot afford to desex them all & will not be able to deal with our waiting list or take on new cases as we simply do not have funds available to meet our #1 objective of desexing all these cats & kittens.

We urgently need to raise funds just to meet this end. Additionally we still need to do our normal & fundraising and/or personally cover the cost of all vaccinations, microchipping, parasite care (fleas/worms) additional vet care & everyday costs i.e. food & litter.
