As a fully volunteer organization we have no paid staff or administration costs, so all money donated goes to the cats and kittens in care
Otago
Queenstown Cat Rescues monthly vet bill now totals $12000. We are a STRICT NO KILL organization and every cat that is surrendered to us is given the very best opportunity at a new life in a loving home. We have had a large amount of sweet senior cats that have sadly been surrendered to us along with a record number of kittens some of whom have been terribly ill on arrival. Just because they are elderly or sick is NO reason to have a loving cat put to sleep. We have given these elderly seniors brand new homes that they can live out their retirement days as well as nurturing the younger cats back to health in preparation for adoption. Vetting of seniors can be quite costly especially if there are dentals etc to be done, in the case of kittens they can arrive very ill or injured badly injured, like little Magnus above who was caught in a predator trap, his head was crushed and he was fighting for life in this barbaric contraption thankfully the vets managed to free him and save his life after almost a week in hospital he is still being rehabilitated, Please help if you can. Even $5 goes a long way to helping us help the pussies xox
QCR helps reduce the stray cat numbers by advocating the desexing of all cats & kittens. We are a strict NO KILL charity, we have NO paid staff we rely solely on volunteers, fundraising and donations
All money raised will go directly into paying for vet care
