QCR is dedicated to caring for stray and abandoned cats in the Wakatipu District and surrounding areas.

Queenstown, Otago

Poor Sparrow, his short life has been a long series of battles, from his rescue in Cromwell as a stray kitten he was found with a badly damaged eye that needed immediate removal, he was then only a few days after his surgery lost from his foster home, miraculously found re-trapped 6 months later after living rough, and fostered for another 6 months until he was healthy and more than ready to find his forever home, no sooner had he been chosen by a wonderful new dad than he was diagnosed with stomatitis, a condition that causes terrible inflammation in the mouth and results in awful pain in the soft tissues, the treatment for this meant he had to undergo 2 long surgeries and recovery to remove ALL of his teeth, despite being one eyed and toothless he is still the most loving wee man. His most recent dental surgery has cost over $2000 so we need to raise some money for poor Sparrow
