Help Us To Expand Greenstone Doors

Greenstone Doors is an established pregnancy and family focused centre in the Hutt Valley. As the community have come to recognise the value of the free services offered, the demand for what we offer has grown.

We are now operating at capacity, with free baby clothing, support groups, and counselling all running back to back with often no space to offer hospitality to mothers in need of a few minutes respite.

We are requesting donations towards fit-out of our expansions. Our new space will offer an additional two counselling rooms - one room has space to work with families and our five volunteer counsellors will have professional rooms to work in.

We will also have a cafe and hospitality area. The koha cafe will provide some extra income to sustain the increased leasing costs. The hospitality area will be a child friendly space where families can relax and be attended to by our volunteers.

Our expansions will also include an administration office and base for our growing number of volunteers.

Our support groups will have the ability to run a creche alongside so that mothers can attend with their children .

We will have more space to store baby clothing and equipment that is donated.
