With 2 bills of varying quality for Cannabis this year, it is time for the movement to upgrade our voice. MCANZ and other advocates want to employ the services of a "Political relations professional", - we don't want to leave anything to chance, so its time to hire the big guns.
We also want to have the funds to have severely affected patients present for themselves where possible at the select committee, again to drive home how much further things need to go this year.
Many of those who need Medical Cannabis don't have a voice, with severe or debilitating conditions, and often on financial support, the thought of getting to Wellington for the select committee is impossible, unless we make it happen for them. Please support us in the endeavor to make both bills stick, and to get the strongest voices to parliament when the time comes.

We are committed to helping patients gain access to legal Medical Cannabis, promoting awareness and providing education for the medical profession on Medical Cannabis.
Use of funds
Funds will be spent on Political relations consultants who agree to a charitable pricing rate, and on transport for disabled persons to select committee processes later in the year.
