Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust has experienced a significant increase in the amount of people reaching out to us for support. Anxiety, depression, loneliness, isolation, grief and loss, abuse, violence, self-harm, relationship breakdowns, unemployment and thoughts of suicide are just some of what we have seen. Already people are experiencing long waiting lists for counselling who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Help us support the increased number of people reaching out for help. Together we can save lives.
Our peer support service at the Hope Centre can give people hope while they are waiting to engage with formal counselling. It is also a hub for providing advocacy, mental health talks, suicide prevention workshops, bereavement support and therapy/counselling for people in need of support.
Suicide is preventable. Please help Life Matters provide support to those who are struggling to find hope at this time.
Your gift can help bring New Zealand's shocking suicide statistics down. For example, $30 can provide peer support for 1 person.
Thank you for your support. Please donate today.
