Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust (LMSPT)'s Annual Street Appeal is happening on Friday 17 May in Dunedin and Mosgiel.
LMSPT provides mental health support to the Dunedin community and beyond from the Hope Centre | Te Whare Tūmanako at 63 Hanover Street. All of our services are free. We have a team of Peer Supporters who provide support directly to people | tāngata whaiora, as well as bereavement support groups and family/whānau support groups. We have extended our hours to allow crisis support where anyone in suicidal crisis can drop in and get support in a safe, non-clinical environment. Funds raised will help subsidise counselling, provide community mental health workshops and safeTALK workshops . It's also a day full of sharing stories and messages of hope. Thank you for donating to us.
