Support the tamariki to Taiwan

$1,055 of $10,000 goal
Given by 12 generous donors in 5 weeks

Support the tamariki for their very first trip to Taiwan, to see and to experience the Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples' harvest festival.

Nationwide

The Hawaiki Project is a social initiative founded through the collaboration of indigenous tribes along the Polynesian migration pathway from Taiwan to Aotearoa. The project aims to deliver authentic cultural tours which highlight the indigenous cultural connection through education.

Our organisation works globally with indigenous tribes to provide opportunities for their children to travel overseas and experience other countries staying within the local tribes of that area.

The special meaning behind this initiative is to bring long lasting connections between indigenous groups, broaden horizons and strengthen indigenous identity in an environment where it is celebrated.
