Giving a voice to life-chained and caged dogs in New Zealand so they don't have to suffer in silence.
Auckland
Since 2001, CDANZ has been a voice for dogs living chained or caged in New Zealand. We attempt to alleviate their suffering by educating society about their plight and the laws that enable their suffering to continue. We provide support to those owners willing to accept our help so that their dogs can live better lives and we offer advice, support and encouragement to members of the public who are willing and able to actively help dogs that they are aware of.
The CDANZ Charitable Trust is a volunteer organisation with no government or outside funding. We rely entirely on donations to be able to care for these dogs. Your donations save lives - they fund the rescue and rehabilitation for life-chained and caged dogs. We spey/neuter, vaccinate, microchip and register all our rescues with donated funds. When necessary we also provide further medical treatments.
All donations are tax deductible. All donations are very much appreciated.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Chained Dog Awareness NZ Trust was created in 2001 to inform people of the increasing number of dogs that are permanently chained or locked away and for whom existence is a living hell.
We ensure that someone speaks up for them and we attempt to alleviate their suffering. We ultimately wish to see a total ban on life-chaining in New Zealand.
