MusicHelps is a unique charity that uses the power of music to help and heal in Aotearoa.
We make a positive difference every day to the lives of New Zealanders in need. MusicHelps supports organizations and projects across Aotearoa that use music to help people who are at risk, vulnerable, experiencing health issues and disability. Through these projects, the charity has had a positive impact on the lives of over 95,000 people in need.
We help local music people through our Wellbeing Service and Benevolent Fund programmes. We provide confidential, practical and caring emergency support to kiwi music people suffering distress, serious illness & hardship. We have taken hundreds of calls via our 24/7 helpline and deployed resources to deliver emergency assistance and in-person counselling to kiwi artists and music community people.
MusicHelps supports projects that use the power of music to help and heal New Zealanders in need. MusicHelps also provides vital support and hardship assistance to New Zealand's music people and their families in times of crisis.
Journey to my Vinyl Destination 8 March 2019
Love music? Love vinyl? Would you like to help kiwi music people and people in need around the country through the power of music? Why, we have just the thing!
Our great friend, musician and vinyl craftsman Jesse Wilde is holding a special performance and vinyl-making event at his studio on Saturday March 16.
“It’s for vinyl record lovers and anyone who enjoys good music,” Jesse says.
“You will see a live music performance recorded, mixed, and mastered and cut to vinyl right before your very eyes. The whole process of vinyl lathing, mixing and mastering for vinyl will be explained in this three-hour event.”
All the proceeds from this event will support our vital work around the country and he's created a special Give a Little page for everybody that can't make it but would like to help him to his goal.
Check it out here and be a part of the vinyl revolution!
