Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield, from all types of desperate situations. We are often their last hope. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

Lola 30 April 2026

❤️ Lola is bright and happy! Her red blood count is a little better, will be re-checked on Monday.

She's going home today. Her carers are very relieved and grateful. Recap - Lola had pyometra, vaginal hyperplasia repair and was spayed.

THANK YOU so much for your contributions towards her urgent care! 💗 We will be running some fundraisers soon to go towards this as well.
