Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield. Rescue dogs of all ages from all types of desperate situations - unwanted farm/pig dogs, dogs surrendered to Vet clinics for euthanasia, pound and community dogs. We are often their last hope. Many are needing expensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

3.5 yr old Huntaway 13 June 2025

✅️ CONFIRMED!

👉 Foster carers have been secured

👉 Surgery is scheduled for next Thursday

We need help raising funds for True's surgery, estimated $3,300.

True is a 3.5 year old Huntaway, she was stood on by a cow, badly injuring her ankle which requires Partial Tarsal Arthrodesis (fusing the 2 lower joints in her ankle). Requires a recovery time of 3 months.

Any donations towards True's surgery is very greatly appreciated.

I absolutely love dogs but after losing two of my own to old age I am still struggling with adapting to another one. So sorry but I would like to donate $25.00 a month, it's not a lot but I hope it helps.
