Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield, from all types of desperate situations. We are often their last hope. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.
Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

"In just under a week I will be competing in Punch With Purpose 6, a corporate fight night. 🥊
Why? To push myself outside of my comfort zone and to live with no regrets! But also to raise funds for my chosen charity, Pound Paws Rescue 🐶
A charity for the doggos, mainly based around North Otago/South Canterbury. They take in rescues of all ages, from all types of desperate situations. This includes dogs from the community, farms, dogs surrendered to Vet clinics for euthanasia and pound dogs. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment. 🤍
Often these organisations struggle to raise funds so as a dog lover, since I cannot adopt them all, I would like to do my bit to help them! Any donation would be much appreciated." 🙏 Link below 👇
