Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield, from all types of desperate situations. We are often their last hope. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

Help Needed Please 10 April 2026

❤️ The wee girl who was run over on Easter Sunday (taken to the vet on Tuesday) breaking her femur (just above the knee) plus multiple fractures in her pelvis, needs urgent repair surgery this afternoon.

We need your help please to raise funds for this surgery (repair of her femur - the pelvis repairs on its own with rest).
