Beds, Blankets, Sheets & Pillows for 2 Mexican families

Break Free Charitable Trust is raising $3,000 to buy 10 beds, 10 blankets, 10 fitted sheets & 16 pillows & pillow slips for 2 Mexican families living in the colonias of Tijuana. Both families are having a basic home built for them by 2 Volunteer Build teams from New Zealand during November. The cost of building materials for each house is covered by the building teams and other sponsors and once finished we would like to buy enough beds and linen for each family (budget $1500 per home) as they have no furniture and what they do have needs to be thrown out. The beds and linen will be purchased new locally in Tijuana (we can't take linen etc from NZ due to airline weight and 2nd hand goods restrictions at the Mexican border). Both families have 5 kids and are living in shacks made of plastic and old wood. Each family lives on $2.20 per person per day for all their needs so having a house of their own is unattainable without outside help. Thanks so much for helping us give 2 families beds to sleep in!
