Cyclone Gabrielle is a major disaster affecting thousands of kiwis. Getting Safe Gluten Free Food to people who must medically follow a Gluten Free Diet is essential!
Once diagnosed with coeliac disease, removing gluten from your diet is essential as it triggers an immune response that damages the lining of the small intestine interfering with the absorption of nutrients from food and causing a host of symptoms.
This fund will be for all flood-impacted areas,. The impact of this devastation is going to be felt for some time, including a supply chain issue. This fund, will be used to support those individual volunteers who are distributing food in the disaster areas to get gluten free food to the people in their locality who must medically follow a gluten free diet.
