Our excursion trains can be remote from quick emergency services responses so we have equipment for most emergencies. An important piece of that equipment, an AED, has stopped functioning and now needs to be replaced. All our crew members are trained to use this equipment.
About us
We are an incorporated society based at Paekakariki on the Kapiti Coast. Formed nearly fifty years ago, we are devoted to the restoration of steam and diesel locomotives plus heritage carriages that we regularly operate on the main line.
Use of funds
The purchase of a replacement AED as part of our excursion train's emergency response equipment
