South Sudan has the highest maternal mortality rate in the world, and one of the highest child mortality rates. Each year the IDAT clinic sees over 15,000 women and children, many of whom walk for hours barefoot to be seen, and most of whom live well below the poverty line. Your donation will help us buy essential medicines and medical supplies to improve the health of mothers and children in South Sudan
Kiwis for South Sudan (KFSS) is a New Zealand based charity that seeks to improve the health of South Sudanese people by funding health related activities. The charity is run entirely by volunteers meaning every dollar donated goes toward projects in South Sudan. The board of directors in NZ between them have decades of experience in development work, management, marketing and medical work. KFSS primarlly fund projects run by their on the ground partners Jono & Destinee Macleod, who are medical doctors from New Zealand.
