All children deserve to smile. Especially at Christmas time when it should be about sharing fun, food and special times.

Who deserves to smile?
We reckon all kids deserve to smile…especially at Christmas which is supposed to be a fun and loving time with whānau (family).
Tamariki (children)in our communities often don’t get to have food around Christmas, let alone a gift. We know the rising cost of living and crippling debt is adding stress to many more whānau, with them highly stressed and unable to imagine anything beyond today. Their kids are living with trauma, hopelessness and no dreams. We see it every day.
We can’t fix everything, but with your support, we can bring some joy.
Angel Partners identify the families most in need & deliver the parcels so they can wrap extra support around them. Angel Partners are social services plus Police, Plunket, Women’s Refuge, Hospices, Health and Education providers. They know who deserves a helping hand.
Our amazing community donates over 2000 gifts every year in the spirit of manaakitanga (care)and whanaungatanga (connection)... but we need help with funding the Kai Boxes (food parcels) please.
We’re aiming for 400 Whānau Kai Boxes again this year.
“Being able to connect and engage with at-risk whanau at a high stress time of year is valuable in terms of harm prevention/ management. Turning up with gifts and kai makes a difference.”
[NZ Police]
“The look on the kids faces is priceless, and the whanau are overcome with emotion”.

Let make 'em smile. They all deserve it.
'Bald Angels Charitable Trust' believes all children deserve to thrive & we focus on the most vulnerable. We engage the community in whanaungatanga values: providing emergency essentials, trauma Angel Bears, youth mentoring & whānau support.
These funds will be used to pay for the Angel Xmas Kai Boxes (food parcels) for very vulnerable and at-risk families in the Far North -Te Tai Tokerau, Aotearoa - New Zealand .
