Help us support the growing number of orphaned baby birds this season.
Nationwide
It's duckling season and here at Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust we are absolutely inundated with baby birds that need care.
The season started early this year and we've currently got over fifty Mallard ducklings, six Paradise ducklings, a few Pekins, four Muscovy fledglings, an orphaned White Faced Heron, a baby Tui and a hatchling Plover in our care. Along with our other patients and long term bird residents we're struggling to find room to house all these beautiful babies.
Help us raise funds to support the growing number of baby birds in our care, expand our capacity and cover the vet bill. No matter how many we see each year, every bird matters and we take each life very seriously.
We are a charity that takes in sick, injured and orphaned birds for care. We get no government or institutional funding and rely 100% on donations and volunteers to run our charity.
To expand our capacity for raising orphaned ducklings and other baby birds this spring and build more incubators.
