The Sarah Lilli Fund has helped 2,000 children enjoy opportunities that would not have been possible for them otherwise.
The 2021 Taupo Cycle Challenge has been cancelled but Sarah’s dad Paddy will still be riding the 160km course on Saturday 19th February for the Sarah Lilli Fund.
After Sarah died her family set up the Fund with Barnardos, to celebrate her life and give other children the kinds of opportunities that she had.
Please support Paddy's efforts so more children in need can enjoy sporting, creative and social activities that help change their lives.
For 60 years, we’ve been part of communities throughout the motu. Today, our mahi across social services, early learning services contributes to Barnardos’ vision of ‘an Aotearoa where every child shines bright’.
We advocate to drive change at the systems-level, so that national laws, policies, practices, and institutions meet the needs of all children and tamariki, and respect, protect and uphold their rights.
We offer early learning services to all under-fives, to create strong foundations for children’s educational and life outcomes.
We provide social support services to children and whānau in our communities facing really tough times – including those who have experienced family violence, addiction, neglect and abuse, and those struggling with mental health issues.
Every day, we’re making a positive, long-lasting difference in children's lives.
