Dental surgery for two of our foster kittens
Auckland
Our poor babies need dental surgery :( They may both need full mouth extraction (removal of all teeth), we will know when they have xrays on the day.
They are booked in for surgery in mid December, they will both be available for foster to adopt prior to surgery
Here are their stories:
Our poor Villi has had a tough run… Unfortunately, Villi was adopted but it didn’t work out so he is back looking for new loving home. But we’ve found out that he has severe gingivitis so may need all teeth removed, and the waiting list is until December. Cats survive fine without teeth, but are more suited to being indoors only.
Our gorgeous Inky also needs teeth surgery. She was rescued a year ago from Glenn Innes with a bunch of other kittens and cats with really bad cat flu. Two have crossed the rainbow bridge due to horrific injuries, whereas others have gone on to find their forever homes. It’s been heartwarming to see her go from shy street kitty to playful cat, however she is still a little wary of strangers. With the right care and love, she’ll be your bestest fur friend.
If their teeth all need to be removed, this could cost up to $1,000 EACH. If you’re able to donate towards her surgery costs, we Inky and Villi would be furever grateful!
Villi is an absolutely smoochy lap cat, Inky is very playful and progressing. Both available as foster-to-adopt while they wait for surgery
