We're coming into winter and have excess bikes to move. We need help with funding their fixing.
Wellington
Local bike shops have collected tons of bikes for us over the last few months and we've been slowly filling up our Newtown Workshop with them as soon as there's space but we're at capacity. Special thanks to Mud Cycles Karori and their customers for collecting a massive pile of bikes and Motuhenga Community Cycle hub for taking what we didn't have capacity for.
We need funds and more volunteers to fix the bikes and get them out to the community. Can you help with either? Please contribute here if you can or come and volunteer with us and let your friends know about our work. We're especially looking for help from those with bike fixing skills, photography, social media and website skills (and time to help).
EkeRua ReBicycle is a community charity that is all about getting more people on bikes.
Every month, we receive dozens of bikes donated by generous Wellingtonians. Our volunteer mechanics fix them up and we carefully match them to people who need a bike.
Parts, consumables and tools to get these bikes moving.
