I Am Hope Foundation

I Am Hope Foundation

I Am Hope Foundation, founded by Mike King in 2013. Originally the Nutters Club, then Key to Life.

Auckland

As well as our current visits into schools with our new "Big People, Little Feelings" program, we are developing a strength based, youth led peer support and mentoring program, aimed at empowering our young people. This program encourages them to take ownership of their attitudes and perceptions toward mental health and well-being by building quality relationships through informed youth participation.

PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Learning about Mental Health doesn’t need to be boring

“Little People, Big Feelings” sees our ambassadors come into primary schools with our colourful children’s books to connect with our youngest kids.

Across the TR & Mack series, we cover everything from understanding bullies to overthinking, doubt and distress. By combining this context with our ambassador’s lived experience and classroom conversations, we can bring our messages to life.

By fundraising for I Am Hope you ensure that we can keep going into schools and make a difference early in children's lives.

More about us

As well as our current visits into schools and communities we are developing a strength based, youth led peer support and mentoring program aimed at empowering our nations young people.
