Urgent medical treatment for 10yr old Chops and to get the medication he needs to heal and be pain free.

Meet our latest addition to RRRNZ, the gorgeous 10yr old Chops.

Chops was attacked by dogs and developed a nasty abscess on his face after the owners couldn't afford vet care. Very close to losing his eye this old boy was very "lucky"!

Chops is off to see the awesome team at CareVets Glen Eden this afternoon and will need a lot of love, care and medication.

For over 6yrs we have been involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of over 200 Rottweilers into loving, experienced, forever homes. We support our adopters and the dogs for life.

It’s hard to believe he is 10, ad he loves his walks and recently went on a 10km outing with his foster family!

Chops is the biggest smoochiest people lover Rottie you can imagine. He has younger foster fur siblings, a boy and a girl - there have been a couple of arguments but nothing to speak of. He did try to chase his foster cat sibling though, mmm, so a new family without cats - noted!

His wounds are healing well and before long he will be looking for his forever home - is that you?
