Shot, Broken Pelvis, Fractured Skull – Sweet Miss Maali Needs You!

Not a Rottweiler but that doesn't stop us from helping a dog who needs us!

4 & 1/2 year old Bull Terrier Maali is fighting her biggest battle yet! After finding her new forever home she was sent for what we though would be a routine spay. Sadly however it was discovered she had been shot at some point in her life and it had done a large amount of damage. The slug pellet was one from a high velocity air rifle which lodged in her ovary and has been there for some time. It has now been removed making her simple spay that much more complicated!

She is currently under the care of Care Vets being monitored for internal bleeding after spending the night at VSA Mt Wellington.

After a change of circumstances Maali has landed on her feet in her new home but her early years have not been a walk in the park.

As a pup she suffered a fractured skull from a dog attack which she fought hard to overcome to then break her pelvis a year or so later in a tragic accident and Maali being the trooper she is pulled through once again!

So Maali needs your help. After all she has endured she is the most amazing dog and we will do whatever it takes to make her well and live the rest of her life trauma free! The costs are mounting and we need all the help we can get to make sure Maali pulls through this!

We knew Maali has had it tough but to find out that someone has done something so cruel to her intentionally is absolutely heartbreaking!
