Hi,
My name is Chelsea Bachellier. I am 19 and have been dancing since the age of 2 with ballet, contemporary and hip hop. I have been dancing street dance for 6 years now and my end goal is to become a full time professional dancer.
In August this year I hope to pursue my dreams with an amazing opportunity to travel to Europe and compete at the UDO world championships. While on this journey I will also be taking workshops with some of the most elite dancers in the world, this will allow me to expand my dance knowledge and skill.
The Trust seeks to present opportunities to empower youth by using dance as a vehicle for personal development, achievement, hauora (physical, mental, social and spiritual health and well being) work ethics, life lessons, leadership and team skills. Research confirms that youth benefit from being involved in this positive dance scene, which gives them a sense of belonging and identity.
