De Visu Dance Crew have gained a qualification to compete at the World Street Dance Hip Hop Champs in Las Vegas.

Urban Dance's De Visu Dance Crew is working hard to get to the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas. They are a crew of 8 young people aged 13-18 years who auditioned to be part of a competitive crew in December 2015. These gifted dancers are so committed and trained up to 8 hours a day building up to the National Champs where they placed 2nd and qualined the qualification to represent New Zealand. They come from all over Tauranga.

About us

The Trust seeks to present opportunities to empower youth by using dance as a vehicle for personal development, achievement, hauora (physical, mental, social and spiritual health and well being) work ethics, life lessons, leadership and team skills. Research confirms that youth benefit from being involved in this positive dance scene, which gives them a sense of belonging and identity.
