This year I have been given the amazing opportunity to compete at the UDO Europe worlds hip hop championship in August.
Bay of Plenty
My name is Keely Frearson and i am a 16 year old dancer. I have been dancing for 10 years now starting with hip hop and now I do a range of genres. My career goal is to become a professional dancer / choreographer and dance for major artists in the singing industry. I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel and compete with my crew De Visu at the UDO hip hop worlds in August this year. As well as competing at the competition I will also be attending workshops in both Germany and LA with some of the most elite dancers in the world. I truly believe that this opportunity will help me grow as a dancer and help to pursue my dream. I would really like to represent New Zealand at the UDO Europe hip hop worlds and utilise this incredible opportunity.
The Trust seeks to present opportunities to empower youth by using dance as a vehicle for personal development, achievement, hauora (physical, mental, social and spiritual health and well being) work ethics, life lessons, leadership and team skills. Research confirms that youth benefit from being involved in this positive dance scene, which gives them a sense of belonging and identity.
The funds raised from this page will go towards my accommodation, workshops and classes fee, flights and event costs. Every little bit will help me get to my dream. Your generosity is very much appreciated, thank you all.
