Reign has been given an amazing opportunity to compete at the World UDO Street Dance Champs in Glasgow this year.
Bay of Plenty
I am a 15 year old Te Puke dancer, currently living in Tauranga and dancing with Urban Dance Company's De Visu Dance Crew.
I have been given the opportunity to compete with them in August at the UDO Street Dance World Champs in Glasgow! Moving away from my family in Christchurch, I have been making the most of every opportunity that is being put in front of me. Competing with a dance crew overseas has always been a dream for me.
But with that and keeping on top of my school work here, it is hard for me to have enough money for this amazing international trip.
So I would be very grateful of any donations that anyone is willing to make, please don't feel like you need to make one, this page is just set up for anyone that feels like helping. :)
The Trust seeks to present opportunities to empower youth by using dance as a vehicle for personal development, achievement, hauora (physical, mental, social and spiritual health and well being) work ethics, life lessons, leadership and team skills. Research confirms that youth benefit from being involved in this positive dance scene, which gives them a sense of belonging and identity.
All my funds made will go towards: flights to and from Glasgow, accommodation, extra crew training, crew costumes & other travel/food costs
