BEAUTIFUL BUNNIES NEED URGENT HELP!

We’ve been asked to help rescue a large number of pet rabbits, otherwise they'll be euthanised. They were not desexed, so OF COURSE they bred like… well… like rabbits! It’s now a huge hoard, well over a hundred. Many are beautiful babies, all are lop crosses, and are in Auckland. It breaks my heart that they could be killed. Saving bunnies is expensive: all MUST be desexed (full price is males $180, females $240) PLUS vaccinations for calicivirus disease (approx. $60 each). Yikes! Not all vets can desex rabbits, as it’s complicated and more difficult than dogs or cats. We’re hoping to get some discount, but it’s still going to be very expensive. But we have to try.
