HELP WITH PETROL TO TRANSPORT MILLWATER GEESE
Funding volunteers to transport the geese long distances to their new safe homes.
Nationwide
The volunteer team is capturing and transporting these geese from their dangerous situation in Orewa, to safe forever homes. They are going to places like Waiuku, Waimauku, Wellsford, Helensville, and even further north.... which involves looong drives, many hours of travel, and LOTS of petrol for our volunteers. They're putting in heaps of time and energy, but it's not fair for them to have to bear the cost of so much petrol to help their community and the geese. Especially now that fuel prices are so high. Can you please help by pitching in something, anything, toward fuel cards for the volunteers? Thank you. If we exceed the petrol costs, any excess will be used for bags of pellets for the geese.
About us
We provide a refuge for abandoned and abused animals, and either provide a permanent home or rehome. We raise orphaned native birds & rehabilitate injured native birds: We rescue battery hens, nurse them back to health and find lifelong caring homes.
