Meet Joesephine... A strong survivor - Riding for a Reason!
Auckland
Joesephine Nathan is a 39 year old mother of two, who is passionate about life. The Tiaki Housing Solutions director and Phd student is no stranger to overcoming challenge, setting goals and cycling.
Last July Joesephine cycled 100 laps up Maungawhau (Mount Eden) for a campaign to raise awareness of sexual abuse of children, and raised $1k for the Korowai Tumanako Trust. She had 16 other cyclists tag in to support her ride.
"I am passionate about riding for a cause and a purpose – my sister had a mild Leukaemia and passed away at 27 after giving birth to her baby daughter one month after! My sister Jascinda is my motivation!!
I am currently undertaking my PHD in Epigenetics and Purakau to help track intergenerational trauma of sexual abuse from the late 1700s."
