Thirteen year old Jessie is cutting her hair to donate and fundraising for the invaluable work that UFNZ do.
Nationwide
I am 13 years old and live in Auckland with my twin brother, older brother, Mum, Dad, cat and dog (and chickens!). I love spending time with family and friends and my sporting passion is rowing.
For a while now I had been thinking about donating my hair for the purpose of making a wig for someone who needs it more than I do.
2 years ago, my lovely Nana was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs) and has been undergoing treatment since then and receiving support from Unicorn Foundation NZ. With this going on I decided that Unicorn Foundation NZ would be an ideal charity to support.
Alongside my hair, I thought that this would be a good opportunity to raise some funds for the invaluable work that the Unicorn Foundation do in supporting NETs patients. With this in mind I would appreciate any donation you can make towards my $1,000 goal.
Thank you,
Jessie
