Quincy is a stray dog that needed surgery to remove an injured eye. Kawerau SPCA is asking for help from the public to pay the vet bill.
Bay of Plenty
Quincy (our name) is a stray dog that was discovered with a horrific eye injury. It is not known who her owner is or how she sustained the injury. Kawerau SPCA has taken responsibility for this dog and she was taken to a vet clinic and had surgery to remove her eye yesterday (Wednesday 4th May). We are now appealing for help to pay Quincy's vet bill. It is estimated that Quincy is about 5 years old, a female Foxy cross. She has a delightful nature, is very affectionate and friendly. Quincy came through her surgery well.

Quincy was adopted today! 12 June 2016
We're excited to announce that Quincy was adopted today. Thank you again to all the kind people that donated to pay for the surgery to remove Quincy's injured eye. Having one eye has not slowed Quincy down - she is still a delightful, friendly dog. Thank you for giving Quincy a fairytale ending to her story.
