Wilson the cat has a broken leg and requires surgery. His heartbroken owner cannot afford to pay. Can you help us pay for the operation?
Bay of Plenty
Wilson the cat was originally abandoned when people moved out of their rental property and left him behind. A kind lady took pity on Wilson, and took the smoochy tabby into her home and heart, even though she didn't need another cat. Wilson was already desexed so there was no question of him fathering any unwanted babies. This week Wilson has come to some kind of misfortune, possible being hit by a car, and has sustained a broken back leg. His heartbroken owner is unable to afford the treatment for the three and a half year old cat, and so approached Kawerau SPCA. Although we can't help everybody out with their vet bills, we think this case is special because of the kindness shown to Wilson when he was abandoned and in need. Consequently we are inviting anyone who would like to return some kindness to Wilson's owner by helping pay for Wilson's surgery. Any amount, no matter how small would be appreciated. Thank you on behalf of Wilson, his owner and Kawerau SPCA.

Wilson Update 29 September 2016
We are happy to announce that Wilson has had his surgery and the operation went very well. He is now recovering at home and receiving lots of TLC from his relieved and very grateful owner. Thank you to everyone who donated to help Wilson get this operation. Your kindness has made a huge difference and enabled Wilson to have a second chance.
