The Kawerau SPCA - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - is a non profit organisation that encourages the humane treatment of animals, and rehomes/cares for abandoned and abused animals, relying solely on donations/sponsorship and volunteers.

Mack's Surgery Day 23 September 2015
Mack had his surgery today. We have been notified that he is waking up following his operation. He will spend tonight at the vet clinic, and then tomorrow go off to a foster-carer to continue his recovery. Thank you all for your care, concern and donations that have helped get this dog on the road to better health.
