Hero Kane Te Tai, who sacrificed his life fighting in Ukraine's defence, is honored through a fund supporting his daughter's future.

Kane Te Tai, a New Zealand native, sacrificed his life in March 2023 while fighting in Ukraine's defence, for freedom and justice. His legacy lives on through his then 12-year-old daughter, who now faces life without her father.

To honour Kane’s memory and support his daughter, we have established The Hero Kane Te Tai's Daughter Support Fund. This fund is dedicated to her education, healthcare, and overall well-being, ensuring she can pursue her dreams and live a life that would make her father proud.

We are also coordinating with Kane Te Tai’s family to appoint a representative from his Iwi as a Special Advisory Trustee, ensuring the fund aligns with Tikanga.

Together, we can support Kane’s daughter, ensuring her father’s sacrifice is honoured.
