Let's empower a child in Ukraine, who lost a parent to the war, with the English language skills they need.
International
Directly support Ukrainian children who tragically lost parents – combatants and civilians - to the war of Moscow (the Russian Federation) against Ukraine.
This fundraiser’s goal is to cover cost of two English Language lessons per week for one child during a year.
By investing in a child's English education, you empower them to confidently engage with the world, breaking down barriers and ensuring a brighter future. In today's interconnected world, proficiency in English is a powerful tool that opens doors to endless opportunities for a child's personal and professional growth. As a universal language in business, technology, and academia, English proficiency equips children with the skills needed to navigate an ever-evolving global landscape.
Our donations target, less the fundraising platform and bank fees ($61 and $12, respectfully), is equivalent of the child’s direct assistance value in Ukrainian currency (UAH) as on 25 December 2023, being UAH 27,040.
When the goal is achieved,
• in Ukraine, charity Children of Heroes, whom we are working closely with, suggests a child to support, alike four children we have already been supporting (e.g. Vika https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-vika-thrive-children-of-ukraine), and
• we review invoices to ensure your donations are distributed as per the purpose, and
• the funds are passed to the charity to pay for the child’s English studies.
All money you donate, less 6.3% of third parties' fees, are spent to support the child.
