Help Callum fundraise to compete in the spray painting category at the WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, Russia in 2019
Auckland
From a young age I knew when I finished school I would be working with cars in one way or another. I never knew what it would be but I have always had a passion for cars or anything with a engine. It wasn't until one day at school I was approached by my engineering teacher telling me about a local panel shop that was looking for a new apprentice. I jumped on the opportunity.
Four years later I am now a fully qualified automotive refinisher and absolutely love the job and highly recommend the trades to any young people that are looking to get into the workforce.
I can't wait to represent New Zealand in automotive refinishing in Kazan, Russia in 2019 and furthering my skills even more.
Thank you everybody for your support.

• Raise the self-confidence and self-esteem of the young participants.
• Have New Zealand recognised as one of the highest skilled nations in the world.
• Promote Skills Training as a first choice career to school leavers.
