Whitehorse Challenge - Team Party Pace (Alice & Ryan)

$395 of $250 goal

Support Alice and Ryan in their quest to bring home the Teams Challenge Trophy and help out the Waimate School of Music!!!

Waimate, Canterbury

Alice first entered the Whitehorse Challenge in 2019, with her team topping the fundraising efforts with a whopping $2000! With a healthy 30 minute head start the team was the one to beat........... Unfortunately Alice wasn't able to capitalise as she biked in (still grinning) after prize-giving having spent a lot of time with the tail-end charlie, nearly adopting a stray kitten, and taking a wee short-cut.

This year she's back with avengance though. Some new rims on her bike, and a strong desire to introduce the "party pace" to her team-mate Ryan this could be the year of the trophy!

Ryan meanwhile takes on the 21km mountain run for the second time. A member of the Big Easy Committee he is hoping that his intimate knowledge of the course from the planning meetings will make up for a limit on the fitness front. If in doubt he'll be clinging to the "Party Pace" team motto - "If you see a kitten pick it up".

Keen musicians they are throwing their 25% support behind the Waimate School of Music, supporting music tuition in Waimate primary schools.
