Support David & Jeremy in their quest to bring home the Teams Challenge Trophy and help out the WHS Opportunites Project!!!
Canterbury
The Whitehorse Challenge pits a team against an endurance run and bike, alongside some fundraising. After a wee incident Jeremy was out of contention to defend the title (playing superman over the handlebars wasn't great preparation). However the Covid delay has allowed for some great healing, and the team is BACK!!!!
And what a team!! David may claim to be ageing every time we see him, but he still sets a swift pace up the hills (and even faster downhill).
Luckily for the rest of us Jeremy will be backing up after doing the Hawea Epic. With a second place finish last year (behind fellow Challenge contestant Tim Rush), we don't think this will slow him down much.
They are throwing their 25% support behind the Waimate District Charitable Foundation with their Waimate High School Opportunities Project.
So get donating - every $1 raised over $250 gives a 1 second time advantage to the team, as well as a hand up for our great causes!
The Waimate Rotary Club runs the Whitehorse Challenge, with teams raising funds for local and regional charities, while testing their athletic skills!
This year 75% of funds raised will go towards Sports Waimate, Centrecare Counselling, Waimate School of Music, Waimate Rotary Club, and the Whitehorse MTB Club. 25% of the funds will go to the Waimate Foundation WHS Opportunities Project.
